One other thought. Tailgating has become part of the game day routine for the fans. However, if students have been imbibing and having a good time they are less likely to actually go into the stadium when our current policy allows tailgating throughout the entire game.

That doesn't strike me as a good recipe to move the students from the lot to the stands. I think the policy needs to be revisited.

Also in 2010 The dorms stayed open an extra day to allow students to attend the game.

Here's an idea for the final home football game of the season: Make it a "Fan Appreciation Day". Have special ticket prices, specials at the concession stand, etc.

I wish Lawson would save me from myself.

Alas, TRUTH:

The West side of Hanson field looks like a run down outdated relic of the past. It would be considered old and unsafe if it were in the D-III level of NCAA let alone D-I.

Hanson Field West is an embarrassment, just one more reason people don't want to be seen there.

Is there anyone here that would disagree with my assessment?

Or just sit on the east side that’s what I’ve always done.

Sitting on the east side gives you a full, panoramic view of the west side. I think that Red Neck is trying to avoid that image.
