Some are, yes. I don't know what percentage of campus is still on steam heat, but there are definitely buildings that are.

712, moving Hanson Field across University into the Ravine did not have anything to do with the steam tunnels. But the football locker room attached to Western Hall and the Rec center had everything to with them. ;) jc

The thinking back in the 1960's was to move the football field to the area now known as Vince Grady Field (across from Bayliss-Henninger). That would free-up space in the central part of the campus for classroom purposes.

The original Rec Center was built much later. It opened in 1997. The addition to the Rec Center opened in 2008.
