For selfish reasons I’m glad we have a few days until the game when it’s going to be cooler as it’s really hot mid week.

No idea on his status, but yes, Walker did come up with what looked to be a hammy issue on a 42 yarder. Might have taken it to the house if it didn't bite him. He kept going for a few more yards and needed help off the sideline. Never came back in, but was later in the game.

Deontez Thompson didn't play last week after getting our only offensive TD in week 1. He was there, but not in pads and thought I saw him walking gingerly.

Hope to have at least 1 back and close to 100%. Otherwise, 5th man up!!!!

I hope the programs for Saturday are proof read because the ones for tonight’s Volleyball game clearly weren’t

After a disappointing start to the season on the road, the Western Illinois football team finally opens the home portion of the schedule this Saturday, taking on #10 Montana State (1-1) at 3 p.m.

"250" fans? Is that really all they are having made? Hoping this is a misprint!

If that's a misprint, it's misprinted on the text of the article too. I'm afraid it probably is correct.

I was scratching my head on the entire trip from Virginia to Toledo yesterday wondering what the significance of "Bear Bold' was. Glad to see it was an apparent misprint. Should be smooth sailing into the Quad Cities today.
Embrace the pace of the race.
