A few Summit M&W double headers and other trips with M&W games within a day of each other. What a concept. :)

Crazy, right?

Actually, more than a few. 10 of the matchups are double-headers. 5 more are only one day apart. In fact, the only conference matchup where our men and women are not playing the same opponent in the same location within 1 day of each other is when we play at Omaha. Women play out there on Saturday, February 9th, Men play there on Wednesday, February 20th.

So, if you're from out of town and want to come back to Macomb for a few days to catch some games, you can see 4 games (2 men's, 2 women's) from January 16-19 (Omaha & Ft. Wayne) or from January 31-February 3 (UND & NDSU).

Here's my post about it, along with a link to a "combined calendar": viewtopic.php?p=22062#p22062

I gotta go with the Fighting Illini. We played them last year at their place. Reciprocal visit as part of 2 for 1?

Have to hope that this home game vs a Power Five opponent will be when the students are on campus and not scheduled during the Thanksgiving or Semester Breaks.

When the Men played the Indiana Hoosiers at Western Hall in 2005, the game came during Thanksgiving Break. So the students were not on campus. But the Western Pep Band came back to play for that big game.

Possibly. Someone on twitter thought maybe Iowa. We also played at Mizzou the year before. I'd guess one of those three, but Illinois sounds like the most likely for the reasons you stated.

So my inside source has told me that Geno and company plan on making the trip to Macomb. On a serious note U of I makes the most sense even though we have also played Mizzou and Marquette on the road very recently as well

Maybe Stanford has asked for a follow-up game.

Western played at Stanford last season. And Western won 71-64!
