WIU will be looking for a new baseball coach as Coach Brownlee tweeted he is stepping down as the baseball coach to take another job.
I know there was one poster on here who kept posting saying Brownlee needed to go, but I thought he did a good job, especially these last couple of years .Seemed like he had things going in the right direction, so will be interesting to see who they hire.

Coach Brownlee is taking a job with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

Coach Brownlee will be missed by WIU, and the community . This guy had energy, and was always positive. Then next Coach will be walking into a solid program.

Good luck to you Coach!

Are all of our head coaches salaried on a 12 month basis?

Outside of basketball and football, I believe that most coaches are on a season by season contract.
