Sorry, with Homecoming stuff going on, I forgot to do my usual post about other games last weekend.

In addition to the previously mentioned MVFC games:

North Alabama lost to Hampton, 40-34, and is now 2-4 overall
Colorado State lost to San Diego State, 24-10 and is 1-5 (only win was against us)
Montana State beat Cal Poly, 34-28 despite giving up 21 points in the 4th to go to OT. They're 5-1 now.
Tennessee Tech lost a close one to Southeast Missouri State, 43-37 in OT, and are 4-2 overall.

And other area teams:
#14 Iowa lost to #19 Michigan, 10-3
Illinois lost to Minnesota, 40-17
Northwestern lost to Nebraska, 13-10
Missouri beat Troy, 42-10
Northern Illinois lost to Ball State, 27-20
Eastern Illinois lost to Murray State, 24-17

Looks like it's a particularly bad year for pretty much all the directional Illinois schools:
WIU - 0-5
EIU - 0-6
SIU - 2-3
NIU - 1-4
Add in Illinois at 2-3 and Northwestern at 1-4, and the only DI football program in Illinois with a winning record is Illinois State at 3-2.
