Historical note of interest:

Last summer, former Leatherneck and later on transfer to ORU, Obi Emegano competed in the Tokyo Olympics representing the country of Nigeria.  He is currently playing professionally in Spain.

Looking at current NCAA stats (overall season, not just conference games) and comparing ours with other conference foes, here is where we are.  Nunbers toward 0 lean to worst in conference and numbers toward 1 lean to best in conference.

Update:  I posted this earlier but there appears to be a problem with the way St Thomas stats are handled by NCAA.  It was throwing off my results.  Here is the revised stats with ST Thomas excluded from the mix.  Assists look like a problem now along with the 3pt FG defense and our own 3pt FG shooting.

'Western Ill.': [
      '3ptFGAtt=0.65',  'AstTORat=0.42',
      'AstsPerG=0.2',   'BlksPerG=0.22',
      'DRebsPerG=0.51', 'FewFouls=0.56',
      'FewTOs=0.67',    'FGPct=0.36',
      'FGPctD=0.5',     'FTAtts=0.74',
      'FTsMade=0.55',   'FTPct=0.37',
      'ORebsPerG=1',    'FoulsPerG=0.56',
      'RebMargin=0.86', 'ScoreDef=0.39',
      'ScoreMarg=0.7',  'ScoreOff=0.63',
      'StealPerG=0.63', '3ptFGDef=0.23',
      '3ptFGPerG=0.42', '3ptFGPct=0.16',
      '3ptFGMade=0.48', 'Assists=0.19',
      'Blocks=0.2',     'Rebounds=0.79',

Really nice but it's one game and means nothing if you don't win the next game.
