I am a numbers guy.  One of the questions I would certainly ask the new AD is specifically what performance level would be considered "acceptible" for team sports.  If he/she says anything less than .500 W-L%, "Next".  Granted, if you are rebuilding a program, it may take a couple of years to get there.

 
Agree 100% Sealhall71!  We need an AD that both assists the Coaches by giving them guidance and resources needed to be successful, and also holding them accountable to "significant improvements" for their program.  This would likely mean different things for different sports.

Western Baseball finished its season today with an overall record of 8-44 (5-19 in the Summit League).

Western finished in last place in the conference.

Spring Sports

Tennis: 3-12 (0-7 Summit League)
SB: 8-37 (4-17 Summit League)
Baseball: 8-44 (5-19 Summit League)

19-93 AND 9-43 in the Summit
Neither made the conference tournament 

Yikes.........
