All games are Saturday, October 8th, unless otherwise stated. Rankings for teams are from the AP (if FBS) and the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 (if FCS). I'm including Murray State this year because they'll be MVFC starting next year.

The Illinois State at Northern Iowa game will also be on NBC Sports Chicago.  Game time is 4:00 PM.

NDSU struggled a bit against Indiana State, but ultimately prevailed, 31-26

SDSU started slow, being down 3-0 after 1 quarter to South Dakota, but eventually pulled ahead, winning 28-3.

Missouri State started off well, posting up 14 points in the first quarter, but Southern Illinois proceeded to score the next 38 points unanswered. MSU picked up a late game TD to make the final 38-21 for SIU.

Attendance at Missouri State = 7,064

Illinois State beat Northern Iowa 23-21.  Attendance at Northern Iowa = 9,306
