Full schedule has been released: https://goleathernecks.com/sports/mens- ... l/schedule

If the games against Monmouth College and Rockford University are exhibition games, then we have an entirely DI schedule this year.

Home games against Youngstown State and Southern Indiana.
Road games at Illinois State, Depaul, Central Florida, and Eastern Illinois.
Home & Home series with UT-Rio Grande Valley
Then the conference schedule starting up 12/19.

Garrett Covington coming to Western Hall, again, sorta.

I think this is the most competitive schedule we have had since I have been retired (11 years now).

Western Athletics is saying that the game with Rockford University is a "regular season" game.   The game with Monmouth College is the only "exhibition" game.

There won't be any conference double-headers again this year because of the continued use of the "Mirrored Schedule".

But there will be 3 non-conference double-headers this fall.

Tuesday, November 1:
5:00 PM:  Women vs Quincy University.
7:30 PM:  Men vs Monmouth College.

Wednesday, November 30:
5:00 PM:  Women vs Tarleton State.
7:30 PM:  Men vs Southern Indiana.

Saturday, December 3:
12 Noon:  Women vs Eureka College.
2:30 PM:  Men vs Texas-Rio Grande Valley.

Can someone enlighten me on this particular boxscore stat?  What does On Court Points refer to?

I really hope we shoot better from the line and beyond the arc then we did tonight.

Not going to win many D1 games shooting that poorly from the line.  I know they're knocking off the rust, but Ft's are Ft's and can't be missing more than you take.  The 3's sucked really bad, but hoping this isn't a team that lives and dies from behind the arc.  We shot on average 26 a game last year at a 33% rate and during our 6-14 stretch, we only shot above that 3 times.  One was 36% double OT loss to NDSU and the second 50% win against ORU.

Hopefully just an off night in those areas, but if we can't shoot the 3 and focus on driving and scoring the paint, we need to be able to make Ft's.

Margenthaler would devote an entire practice to suicide drills if one of his teams shot that bad from the stripe.
