Would like you to listen to the BOT meeting which took place today.  Start around 1:48:00 and listen all the way to the break.  The BOT is really asking some important questions and the statement from Kirk Dillard just before the break gives you an idea of why Kirk was placed on the BOT when he was.  It seems that he has been charged by the Governor to help straighten things out.  Buckle on your chin strap ladies and gentlemen, we are in for a wild ride.   ;)  jc

Hopefully he will see what an eye sore/safety hazard the football stadium is in and get some State assistance before some kind of preventable accident occurs.

Finally someone who will force Western to act, not just talk.

This was so frustrating when I was involved with Assessment. Present all the data, show where improvement is needed, yet all that was talked about what that 1 glimmer of hope and how great that was.

I could care less what political party Dillard represents, he has come with a message that it's time to "put up or shut up."

And if bold and progressive is what the BOT professes, and it must to get us out of the tailspin Western is in, that very BOT needs to recognize that the current President is not what we need. We need a President who supports bold and progressive, not same-o, same-o.

If the BOT gives the President a multi-year contract beyond his extension to September, the tailspin will continue until we crash into the ground.
