Lia and Holly are covering it for now. The guys love Lia, but admin claims to want a full men's coach. One asst and one grad asst would be perfect and cost much less than a men's head coach, plus players on both teams would benefit.

On Friday (Sept 28), Western will dedicate the new Arthur D. and Roselyn Chown Golf Learning Center at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course.

Lia Lukkarinen, director of WIU Golf and head golf coach, WIU Women's Golf: "Art and Roselyn have meant so much to Western Illinois University, and to name the facility in their honor is so fitting."

New golf building is "slick!" We stopped and wandered around for awhile. Nice locker-rooms for both men and women's golf, nice area for pro shop and "beverages!" jc
