Only official announcement will be when new FB HC has accepted.

It was reported multiple places and Fisher himself tweeted he was at Penn St practice, so not sure how you heard what you did.[/quote

Well I spoke to him him after the forum in length about a lot of stuff and he mentioned he was flying to Alanta to meet his son and I'm pretty sure they went to the Peach Bowl. But after that maybe he was at Penn State's practice. Probably in the Jacksonville, FL area where they play tomorrow. Not sure what time practice was...

I also spoke to him about a former player of his at Temple...former fullback of the Bears Kason McKie who happens to be the son in law of a former teammate of mine at WIU...Jerry Bey. Jerry is a coach at Waukegan HS and they own a training facility for High School kids in that area! Could be a great recruiting resource for Western.

So, what happens if Fisher takes a different job? How long will this drag out?

I don't believe Penn State has any openings. Like I said earlier...Coach Fisher texted a prominent WIU booster yesterday and asked how it was going so I know he's very interested in coming here plus he wants the job.

Are you implying that WIU normally does what the government does by always leaving someone hidden in a secure bunker somewhere while it convenes for a major event (e.g. State of the Union address)?
