Once a kid realizes he can take it to the paint and come away with nothing worse than a trip to the line, he will do it every time. Street Ball 101.

Any reason Batish has not seen minutes? He did end last season with the conferences highest 3pt %.

Not exactly sure. He is a very good role player (i.e. spot-up shooter). Sort of a liability on D and rebounding.

ST_Lawson wrote:Just checked, and as far as I can tell, this is the first time we've started a season 3-0 in the Div. I era.
On the radio post-game show, Scott Kornberg said that this is the first time since the 1989-1990 team (26 years ago) to start the season 3-0.
Attendance at Western Hall was 1,106.

Hmm, ok. sports-reference.com must have incorrect information:
http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/sch ... edule.html
According to them we started the season with wins against Butler and Florida A&M, then lost to Wisconsin and won at DePaul.
EDIT - figured it out. Looks like sports-reference.com doesn't list non-div I teams, so they didn't show the game against Augustana that we won (2nd game of the season) or against the Illinois Institute of Technology that was won (4th game). Including those, we were actually 4-0 when we lost at Wisconsin. The preseason record book (
http://goleathernecks.com/documents/201 ... dBook1.pdf) on page 21 lists the '89-'90 season.
So, '89-'90 was the last time we went 3-0 (or 4-0) to start a season.
