If you know you have to foul, why let 15 secs run off the clock???

Why does it seem like they can never catch a break.

I was going to start going to some home conference games.

After watching that half and how awful the offense is, nah.

Typical game against the Jacks - nailbiter goes their way 63-59.

We have to find a way to occasionally score some points within 12 feet of basket to make the opposition guards play a little looser on our guards.

Cant blame the officiating for the loss, but how could it be any worse than the second half. Not sure why, but they always seem to catch the officiating breaks no matter where they play at key points down the stretch.

This team is killing me. I can't stand SDSU and its basically because we can't beat them.

Every year and seems the same with football, the other teams always steps up late and has a better adjustment/gameplan at half. Last 10 minutes of their offensive sets looked like my Wednesday night men's league just running around the floor.

This game wasn't lost by the officials, but again was one sided.

I don't know why none of you are upset. It's like it's ok to watch a team lose by playing poorly. WIU should have won this game, but that was a pathetic 2nd half. SDSU couldn't shoot today. But yet again coach Wright doesn't change the defense to stop the ball going inside regardless who was at center, and he was ok with the guys taking jump shots. No inside attacks. No one crashing the boards. I thought coach Wright wanted winners, not pansy on the floor.

The prescription to beat us for the last 7 years has always been to keep very tight pressure on the guard positions, forcing them in a panic dribble mode. Nothing new this year. I think a lot of our struggles boil down to our own defensive scheme, which is a packline (sagging man to man) defense. You will not do well against that which you do not practice against regularly.
