Today's (Dec 6) RPI Rankings has Western holding on to the #349 (out of 351) spot--beating out Alabama A&M and Longwood.

I just checked the boxscores. We have had second half leads in 3 of the 6 D1 games this year. I am starting to see a trend here that reared it's ugly head during the football season. We might have a serious depth problem or a stength and conditioning problem in our athletic programs. If not that, I would be checking the quality of the water in Macomb.
We are much better than that 349 RPI ranking. Can we come to life during this "Dead Week"? We shall see.

Holding a second half lead has been Wright's achilles heel since he took over the program. Even during the Covington and Sandifer sophomore season this was a recurring trend. The last 5-8 minutes every game always seem to go to the other teams favor.

#351 (of 351) Longwood will be playing at Creighton tonight (Friday, Dec 9). This game will be on Fox Sports 1. Game time is 6:30 PM.

Longwood is probably still basking in the glory of holding the VP debate. Monday nite I get to see them play at George Mason. Oh boy, cant wait. I will be taking good notes there and during our game with Eastern tomorrow and give you a detailed comparison report next week. For what its worth (not much this early in season), Massey has Longwood at 334 and WIU at 344.
