I was curious about what the USD fan board was saying about WIU and I was a bit taken back when one poster talked about the "mess" the football program was in. I am not going to deny that the first week seemed that way, but the Necks quickly recovered with both the interview process and hire of Coach Fisher. He and his staff have really gotten it done and the proof will be in the pudding on Wednesday. jc

Especially considering Nielsen hasn't even signed a contract yet they seem to like to talk a lot all they can ever talk about is how they beat NDSU but i guess when that's the only thing relevant they've done in recent yrs you have to talk about it.

Yea I had been lurking over on usd message board reading up on nielson and the recruits they are signing.

Seems like they will beat wiu 50-0 this year. IMO it will be that score. The other way lol.

I knew they hadn't been d1 that long but didn't realize it was that recent.
