Geez, you have to get a better shot with that much time left than just a heave from 3.

Now you can STYX a fork in us, the juices are running clear.

If I go to Sioux Falls, it will only be for the semis and finals.

Sad way to end the season on an 11-game losing streak. Denver won 69-63.

This game followed a familiar story-line that we have seen several times this season: Western falls way behind. Rallies back. But still loses.

Kyle Arrington did not play in the 2nd half (Left knee injury).

Western finishes the season with a 5-21 record.

Zion Young and Ben Pyle led the Western scoring with 14 points. Kobe Webster had 12. Anthony Jones had 10.

Western had 11 three-point baskets. Denver had 3.

Big free throw differential: Denver shot 27 (made 20). Western shot 9 (made 8).

Attendance at Denver = 1,390

If I am AD, I institute a new policy whereby the underclassmen on the team go to Sioux Falls and experience the environment when the team fails to make it there.

Back in my day, my HS would send the Freshman players to the state tournament (Class A at that time). They would stay on campus at UofI.
That was my first experience with dorm life.

How soon we forget. Have to say it. Tearing up a bit right now watching this.

If I am AD, I think I would reach out to Jack Houpt and see if he has any interest.
