Probably what JD was tweeting about, but don't know for sure I guess, but WIUWBB is getting a grad transfer from Cincinnati. She is originally from Illinois.

Could be...here's some more info for everyone else:
Addaya Moore - Guard originally from Granite City, IL: https://gobearcats.com/sports/womens-ba ... moore/9704
2017-18 - Played freshman year at Illinois (19 games, 7.4 minutes per game, 1.8 points per game)
2018-19 - Transferred to Cincinnati and sat out season due to transfer rules
2019-20 - Played for Cincy, playing in 30 games (started 12), 21.4 minutes per game, 3.8 ppg, 4.5 rebounds per game
2020-21 - Played in 4 games before going down with an injury. In those 4 games, averaged ~30 minutes per game, 5.8 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, 10 steals.

Should have 1 year of eligibility left, assuming 18-19 was considered her "redshirt" year.

Not a surprise, but it's official now that Addaya Moore will be joining the team. I was incorrect about eligibility...she'll have 2 years left.
Also, I don't think I noticed it before, but she was on the Illini team that we beat back in 2017. She played in 19 (out of 31) games for the Illini that season, although our game against them was not one of them: https://fightingillini.com/sports/women ... core/14946

Also picked up a transfer from K-State, Jada Thorpe, who's originally from Chicago. Thorpe will have 4 years of eligibility.
Her history:
HS Freshman and Sophomore - North Lawndale HS (Chicago)
HS Junior - Montverde Academy (Florida)
HS Senior - Simeon Career Academy (Chicago)
Freshman (19/20) - K-State, missed season due to injury
R-Freshman (20/21) - K-State, played in 5 games with 4 minutes of playing time, also named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team

Coach Irving might be paying dividends recruiting on the girls side as well. Looks her father who sadly passed away in 2018 was a long time coach at North Lawndale in Chicago and was close with Nick's father. Read an article where Nick was interviewed about his passing and he spoke very highly about him.

Might not have had anything thing to do with it, but looks pretty possible.

Wonder if he can get us any top IL football recruits!!!!!

That might have been a bit of it (having a familiar face around), but she also might have wanted to be closer to home. I doubt Coach Irvin had any direct recruiting contact with her, but the name might have come up when JD or the assistant coaches were talking with her.
