The Summit League Tournament is going on this weekend at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.

The Women's games tipped off earlier today.
In the first game, there was a pretty big upset with #8 Omaha knocking off #1 South Dakota State, 52-40.

Tomorrow, our #5 Leathernecks take on #4 Kansas City at 11:45 AM. We split the games with KC this season (series was in Macomb).
Then #3 North Dakota State will take on #6 Denver at 2:45 PM.

Men's games get underway this evening:
#1 South Dakota State vs #8 Omaha at 5:45 PM
#2 South Dakota vs #7 Western Illinois at 8:45 PM

That #8 over #1 upset in the Women's bracket means that our potential route to the championship game is against the #4 and #8 teams. Obviously we have to take care of our own business first, but it bodes well for our chances having the #1 team out of the tournament.
SDSU's women were ranked #21 in the AP Top 25

Illinois (once, WIUWBB) and the two Dakotas are the only states to be home base of the mens and womens tournament champions during the last dozen years. Could Oklahoma be added to the mix tonight?

How Greisel never got the foul call on him with an out and out mugging and Abmas did on a soft touch is a mystery.
