The Spring Sports teams are getting off to a slow start. Softball is doing the best.

Current records as of March 15:
Softball: 8-8
Baseball: 3-9
Football: 0-3
Men's Soccer: 0-5-1
Women's Soccer: 0-10
Volleyball: 0-13

Soccer got a huge win over #18 ORU

As noted above, Men's Soccer beat #18 Oral Roberts 1-0. This game was played at Burlington High School. Game 2 will be on Saturday.

Leathernecks Knock Off No. 18 Oral Roberts. Kyle Owen's goal knocked off the No. 18 Golden Eagles for the first win of the season.

That's impressive. It's one thing to pull off a 1-time upset against a much better team (like baseball over Louisville earlier this year), but taking a series against a ranked team...that's something.

Add another women's soccer win, a good win in softball, and a baseball win. Did I mention twin wins in volleyball besides women's soccer and men's soccer. What I think is worth mentioning is that softball and baseball are definitely becoming much more competitive, track and field is having some success, golf both mens and women's. So I have a good feeling that things are looking up and positive for the future. I am not sure what is going on with football though. Hope we get some help on the O and D line this coming fall! ;) jc

Volleyball finished their season with a 2-15 record.

2-14 in the Summit League (tied with North Dakota for last place).

Last year's record was 6-23 overall and 3-13 in the Summit League.
