Everybody that is looking at this board is familiar with the Rocky bulldog logo. I'm not sure how long we have had this? It is a well done logo that was done by a professional firm that looks good.

What's the problem? Well, cartoonish looking logos are out of fashion and while we may think it's cool what does an 18 year old kid think?

EIU's old logo was really looking more like a high school, they changed a number of years ago (5-6) to a blue and white panther head/profile that, in my opinion, is stealing Penn St. Trade Mark.

My point is look at what all the other D-I university's are trending towards. I used to post pictures but I'm too lazy to use third party sites to display pictures here.

Thoughts?

Go to ballstatesports.com look at the football schedule (BTW Ball State's athletic website sucks) I love the uniformity of the Summit/Valley athletic websites!

I want to clarify my first post instead of editing it.

EIU's logo looked very amateurish and had a non D-I look about it. They made a change.

Culture and performance on the field/court much more important than logo. Can you improve your culture with better branding? Maybe a little, but nothing beats consistent winning.

Yeah, I remember the State of Illinois logo when I was at Western.

I like the W with serifs. Not in Yellow, always white....yellow can be an accent color.

Winning solves all the problems. It does. ISU has weak as F**k EIU and Butler on their non con so they get to bank two wins to our maybe two losses or split with Montana and E. Washington.

Thank you St. Lawson for always being the guy to find the stuff. Really I mean it.
I appreciate you. These have been lean years for fans....you are THE person that has kept this fan board alive. I have the highest respect and admiration for you Mr. Lawson.
