Must have.  Dayton is a Pioneer League team; non-scholarship. So LOIs are more ceremonial than official.

Thanks for the clarification, GVdad. I didn't know if there had been a change of some sort in their program that the kid didn't like, or what. Just have to wait and see what happens, I guess.

I'm not sure what we offered, but it must have been enough to get him to visit.  May just be a Valley school vs a Pioneer school.  What I do know is, this staff has knocker on a ton of doors in the last few weeks.  Should really pay off in the years to come!

I checked for a HC change but the same dude has been there since Eisenhower was President. Never occurred to me that they were Pioneer.

Yeah, and I like that we're going for kids that the other Valley schools aren't. Seems like just a few years back we'd all be going for the same people. I guess to me this shows that this staff has its own vision of how to build a winning team, and it isn't necessarily as cookie-cutter as the rest.
