Fast-paced game in Western Hall tonite. I would take their gals in a track meet all day every day. Shooting an airfilled round spherical object into an iron-rimmed hoop? Not so much.

Looks like it's been a game of "runs". We had a big one in the 1st quarter, then they charged back in the 2nd. This is a team we
should beat pretty easily.

I looked at both Men and Women rosters for Chicago State. A grand total of one (1) player that could claim Chicago as their home town. No trouble grabbing a kid from Croatia, Spain, Mali, France, Peurto Rico, Florida, California. ... smh
Houston, we have a problem.

One quick question! Were there really 300+ fans in the stands last night, and.......were there really 1500 the night before for the men's game? jc

387 for the Chicago State sounds about right. 1,500 for the Men's game might be a bit generous.
There is only about 150 people in the stands when the starting lineups are announced. That could be a factor of the early 6:00 PM start-time for a weeknight game.

#0 Carla Flores went down with an apparent shoulder injury on Wednesday night.
For Gravina, the severity of Flores’ injury was too soon to tell but the outlook did not look good.
“It’s too early to tell, she’s had shoulder issues, so she knows what it feels like,” the coach said. “I think both of us would be shocked if she did not tear something that caused the dislocation.
“You hope it’s just a dislocation and you can stretch things out but it’s not very encouraging.”
