So this one is on ESPN+, good student commentators, a real-time clock and score bar on the screen.  Why not this setup every game?

To foul or not to foul the opponent when up by 3 and they have ball with about 12 secs on clock?  That is the question.
On this day, they sink the 3pt buzzer beater to tie it up in regulation.  Tough one to lose.

Another disappointing loss, Lead for most of the game. If they make a free throw at the end, that would have put them up 4 0r 5 and probably win. Then like mentioned up 3 and they choose not to foul and they drain a 3 to tie the game, At that point I figured they would lose in OT. I know they are kinda short handed but turning into a disappointing season.

Disappointing ending to this game.

Western led by 16 (64-48) with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.  But UMKC won the game 87-85 in overtime.

Jada Thorpe led the Western scoring with 22 points.  Danni Nichols had 19.  Elizabeth Lutz had 16.  Anna Deets had 13.

Evan Zars had 16 rebounds.

Attendance at Western Hall = 681

Next game will be at North Dakota State on Thursday (Feb 10).  Game time is 7:00 PM.

We needed some strategic possessions at the beginning and throughout the 4th quarter.  We kept leaving the door open and they stepped right in.  Whatever could go wrong did and then some. ;)

Agree, with the exception of someone needs to tell one of the student announcers that Jada's last name is Thorpe, not Thrope.
