The glaring weakness heading down the stretch is we just cannot bring anyone off the bench to put points on the board.  Solid defenders, very scrappy, but they need to be somewhat of a scoring threat.  If they are not, their defenders sag off and harass our good shooters, making it tougher on them.  Dixon playing with one hand now, Burrell is not a shooter.  I think KJ will be a very good shooter but lacks the experience and confidence right now.  He could be the spark we need going forward, who knows.

Hinton not a factor at all this year but what exactly is his status?  Still on roster I see (sort of).  Is he still enrolled in school? We really could use the offensive prowess that he showed last year, some of it in a starting role.

Just how bad is it?  Thru 13 conference games, our bench points = 101 (7.8/G).  Our opponent bench points = 254 (19.5/G).  You can win a game every now
and then with that kind of shortcoming.  Would take a miracle to win 3 in 3 or 4 days of tournament competition, IMHO.  I would start playing some MO ball, milk every possession down to the last 5 or 7 seconds before putting up a shot.  We would be less likely to foul spending less time at the defensive end.
