I hope KJ starts seeing gradually more and more time each game leading into tournament. Dixon's hand did not look good last game.  That kind of injury might take a while to recover from.

Western won the game 70-68.

Luka Barisic led the Western scoring with 21 points.  He also had 14 rebounds.  Tamell Pearson had 14 points.  Trenton Massner had 10 points.

Five 3-pointers for Western.  North Dakota had eleven.

6 Bench Points for Western --  all from K.J. Lee.

Not a good day at the free throw line for Western:  17 of 30 (57%).

Attendance at Western Hall = 827

Next game will be at South Dakota State on Thursday (Feb 17).  Game time is 7:00 PM.

A must needed nail bitter. Luckily it fell their way at the end. This should at least keep us in the middle of the pack conference wise.

I would love for us to take the Jackrabbits down to the wire on Thurs.  That place is a juggernaut.  The fans there are really into the game and know when to crank up the noise pressure on the opposition, early or late in the game.  Win or lose, if you dont fold under that pressure, it would be good prep for the tournament.  I am seriously thinking about making the trip.

I think fans home/away and perception of our university would be better received if we used the established radio feed instead of student commentary.

My Dad was over (western alumn) He is 79 and his sharpness has slipped a bit, I had to change the "channel" quickly so I wasn't embarrassed or  he asked wtf we were watching.

I am not trying to be a "smart ass" or funny.  Talking about the ESPN+ feed.
