#1 South Dakota State beat #8 Omaha 87-79.

I thought the Mavs did a good job in first half on offense with their weave.  It opened up some good shots in the paint and beyond the arc.  Jacks pretty much denied it in the 2nd half by extending the D and double teaming. Jacks have incredible depth at both guard and forward positions.

I think there is a bit of homerism going on.  In general do not the highest seed teams get the early slot in the session so they get the benefit of added hours of rest?  So where I got my math degree, 3 > 4 when it comes to tournament seed positions.  Oh never mind, I know a lot of the USD crowd has to get up and go to work tomorrow. 

I still say this new Commish needs to alternate the tournament between Sioux Falls and at least 1 other location.

In looking at past Summit League Tournaments, the #4 vs #5 seeds have always been the 6:00 PM game.  With the following game at 8:30 PM featuring the #3 vs #6 seeds.
