JJ Flores has entered the transfer portal. Flores came to us last year from Highland CC, played in 2 games last year and was injured. Played in 23 games this year (starting 2) and averaged 12.7 minutes, 2.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. Looks like next year will be his last year of eligibility, so probably doing a grad transfer. He was one of the seniors recognized on senior day.

This season, played in 13 games, total of 58 minutes, 1.3 points per game, 1.4 rebounds per game.

He hit the clean up jumper against Northern Kentucky and was getting significant minutes and then he disappeared.  Remained very positive on the bench but he lost his minutes to our 6’8” freshman.  Not a true guard by any stretch of the imagination.  I wish him well.

Any my thoughts on Pearson?

Four guys from the Highland CC pipeline.  Now minus 1.  I dont see anything coming from there this year.  Even Mo used that pipeline to get "Big Mike" who BTW is still playing in his native Europe.  https://cheshirephoenix.com/roster/ Big Mike was here for only 2 years and completely transformed his body and game between year 1 and year 2 to become much more athletic. I dont think Mo or the traning staff had much to do with it, mostly did it on his own.  Be nice if Anhold et al could dedicate themselves to do something similar.

Oops, I just saw Anhold declaration.  Make that minus 2.  Playing time almost non-existent this year compared to last.  Head scratcher.

I like both these guys and hopefully and get a package deal.  Lowell has been around and is probably 25 years old.  He was a 247 3 star for class of 2016 (highest offers Colorado and Oklahoma State), but served his LDS mission before playing the 2018-19 season with Utah Valley.  Transferred and redshirted in 19-20 with BYU then played a few games in 20-21, and now JUCO at Snow in 21-22.  With 20-21 not counting, he'll have 2 years left.

Totally wieird you can have that much mileage and still be classified as a soph at the JUCO level.  Snow has one of the tallest rosters I have ever seen at the JUCO level.  They grow em big in Utah for some reason.  lol

Almost like a prep school for the big Us there.
