Had offers during his transfer recruiting from DI schools: SEMO, Samford, and Alabama A&M
Originally from Phillips HS in Chicago though, so he may have wanted to be a bit closer to home. Played in 1 game at BGSU in 2021 during his redshirt year, didn't appear in any games for them last year.
Coming out of HS, had offers from about 3/4 of the MAC.
