Give me 4 yards and a cloud of those little turf dust balls over and over.

Through five games, I haven't seen any progress.

This is a bigger rebuild than I thought.

I paid no attention at all to the game, but it was closer than I thought did, did we play a little better or was South Dakota St just on cruise control.

My take on it was a little of both.  Stig is not the kind of coach who will embarrass an opponent.  At times, we played some good defense and got key stops, even got to the QB a couple of times with some pressure.  However, our lack of running game is taking its toll on the passing game.  A couple of dumb plays. One we get a little momentum going to get within one score.  Get a nice stop, then first play on O throw a long one (or at long as Bruno could toss it) that fell way short into defenders hands.  Two, we let a kick off to us drop untouched at about the 20 yard line or so.  Longest onside kick in history.  lol
