Well, crap. But to be fair, isn't that how we beat them last year? What goes around comes around, I suppose.

The end of that game made me wish I drink. I love how there are posted signs of no fake noise makers and we got drunk mom ringing a cow bell the whole game and carrying on like they won a National championship

Up by 10 with 3:09 left...
3 plays by YSU for a TD with a 48 yard and 40 yard pass... coverage was awful...
Failed onside kick by YSU, WIU gets ball back on the 48
Then 3 and out with an incomplete pass that stops the clock.
YSU gets ball on their own 27 and 50 seconds left...
Drive down the field to the WIU 25 in five plays...

I like what coach is trying to build but this is bad. I am sorry but just is. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but now 0-7. No progress.

Youngstown State wins the game 28-27 on a 42 yard field goal on the last play of the game.

Not forcing Youngstown to use their final time-out during our last possession was costly.

And our injury to a Western defensive player gave Youngstown State back their final time out with 9 seconds left in the game.  That let them have one more play to get closer to field goal range.

Western had 320 Total Yards:  160 Yards Passing.  160 Yards Rushing.

Attendance at Hanson Field = 7,217

Me too! I wish we kind of did more with camo/military for our uniforms

We raised $11,000 back in April at Football Alumni Weekend for the Camo pants.  All donated from former players and current players parents.  90% came from Football Alumni.

Instead of focusing on the negatives as they can’t be changed….

Our offense looked semi decent today and some of our true freshman had big games and look like they will be ballers with more experience. Just hope we can hold onto them and the transfer portal doesn’t take them.

That is brutal, definitely should win a game up 10 with 3 and change left. Although i disagree agree with you that no progress is being made.

It’s hard for to say if progress was made as YSU isn’t anything special either
