We need a true point guard. We saw a good one tonight in Nailor. Does Stephens play point? A good PG does not need to score alot but his job is to feed others in positions where they can score a lot. Cook and Lorenzen filling the role best they can with 8 and 6 total assists THUS FAR, respectivly. And if your PG has more TOs than assists, what's the point, he is probably hurting you more than helping you. I just looked at Lorenzen stats from last year. He played alongside a point who averaged 8 assists PER GAME and no doubt had a big impact on Lorenzen's lofty 22 PPG average.

There was one player on crutches last night.
It was either Jack Riley (Junior Forward) or Jake Edwards (Freshman Guard).

I'm assuming Kvamme will be our future PG, just tough for a true freshman to play PG. I don't think we would want Lorenzen playing much PG, Cook and Pigram, plus Kvamme looks like they are our best options.
As a team they currently have 29 assists to 63 turnovers. Cook is the current leader in assists with 8

Massey apparently got hurt last night, so hopefully he's not too bad, they will definitely need him Friday.
