This would be a good game to get off the schneid, so to speak.  I have heard it said many times.  Now I know how to spell it.

What is a schneid you ask.  Google says its origins are in the card games skat and gin rummy, where a “schneider” signifies a player's low point score.

Necks up 26-18 at the half.  Both teams obviously struggling to score.  Helter-skelterish flow.

We fell behind in 2nd but woke up with a couple minutes to go to make it a game.  But too little too late and fall 59-54.
