Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

I’d say that was used as an easy and very convenient scape goat by the administration. Did it help? No. I guess it’s just my opinion but I highly highly doubt everything was trending up until then. But please, somebody please take him off our hands.
Regardless of whether he gets another job or not, I'd be very surprised if he is still the president at WIU on July 1st. Just rumors...but fairly credible ones.

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

So everyone keeps talking about the class that graduated to the incoming freshman class but I think you need to add all the incoming transfers I deal with college students all the time and i see many more transfers than freshman I went Juco 1st myself. This is true. We won't really know on that fro...

Re: Danielle Surprenant named Interim AD

I am not sure how much interest there would be, but does anyone know if the University going to do any kind of national search for a replacement? I am not sure why they have seemed to fill this position the last 2 times internally. Possibly budget issues don't allow for the school to recruit someon...

Pella is expanding and will be looking to hire around 100 new employees.
Yup, huge (and much needed) good news...
