Re: SDSU 1/4

Continuing the thoughts on shooting percentages, here is something to ponder: Our big 3 tandem of Gilbeck, Hughes, and Snyder are shooting a combined 11 of 17 (65%) from the field in our first 3 conference games. Small sample size but IMO, they need to take more shots or at least make the oppositio...

Re: SDSU 1/4

Playing around on the internet,,

The top 3pt% shooter in NCAA d1, is shooting 55.7%

Ancrum is now at 56%......hmmm, maybe he will make the list,,
Oh I see, he does not meet the criteria of, Min. 2.5 made per game.
nevermind.

Re: SDSU 1/4

I know its one game but, if you can't see what we been saying about Ancrum, I don't know what to say.. Played lights out ..

Kudos to coach Wright for leaving him in..

That's what a balanced team offense looks like.. and Defense was solid, we actually got a few steals.

Re: At IUPUI

Not only are you negative you are out of line! You may have your opinions about how you think the team should be run, but calling another person a fool. Do you know Coach Wright personally? You may think he does foolish things, but to call him a fool is uncalled for. You started your post with I di...

Re: At IUPUI

I think the guys were gassed from the IPFW game. Shots weren't falling and seemed like everything for IUPUI was going down. So were they gassed in all the other losses, lol, just sayin. I missed the game, but looks like the same ol Billy Wright coached team reverting back to norm. In the stats it l...

Re: at Fort Wayne

BlackJack, I come from the land of "no weights lifted" during the basketball season ala 1968-71! Most coaches thought that lifting during the season would throw your shot completely off. We may all come from the same gene pool, but there is a significant difference in the physicality of t...

Re: at Fort Wayne

I feel for Sandifer, I had severe tendonitis when I played, no real treatment besides month of rest, and it can throw your game off big time, even free throws, ,sadly, It probably is a result of lifting too heavy.. .. They have him on twitter power cleaning like over 225 lbs, I was impressed, but al...

Re: Gameday @EIU

Yeah watching other D1 schools play makes you even more frustrated with WIU. I say, Forget about Gilbeck, and forget acting like Sandifer and Covington are special players,, Yes zone would work, especially against teams that don't shoot great from three, many schools that always played strict man ar...

Re: Gameday @EIU

Agree with all above. Wasting talent for sure. These freshman are doing ok but not going to make any difference either. WIU will not be able to get much better talent than they have. With this very basic system and all the dumb subbing, and predictable offense and defense we are just gonna get same ...
