Deceptive score. Game was a much bigger blowout than the final indicated. 

We had a decent showing of fans in the North End Zone. Definitely the most scenic game I’ve been to - the Chicago skyline was visible from our vantage point. 

Sure would be nice to schedule buy games at Akron or Kent state instead big 10 schools.




It is about $$$. Oh, and we need alot of it.



Also, it was really easy to travel to see us play @Illinois and see other alums. Those of us who went wouldn’t get that luxury playing at other schools ...

This probably results in the OVC footprint shifting more towards IL with any future additions.

Northwestern game moved to Friday night by tv.

I’ll be at both the Illinois and Northwestern Friday night games to start the season. I’m REALLY looking forward to being at Northwestern’s Lakefront Stadium with a view of the skyline at night.

Glad to see the opener in Champaign moved to Friday night. It's very enjoyable to attend a game on a summer night, as opposed to 80+ degree heat if the game is on an August afternoon. 

What year did the Macomb Inn close down? Couldn’t find an answer online.

The NEC added Chicago St because the NEC needed another full D1 member to stay compliant with NCAA regulations requiring a minimum number of full D1 members. The NEC had 3 transitioning schools who didn’t count as full members, and Chicago St was the only full D1 member willing to join.

SIUE ended up bypassing the play-in game and will get a straight ticket to the Round of 64.

They are one of the few schools in IL who hasn’t been hit hard in enrollment.
