they did pick up their first win of the season, beating Detroit Mercy 9-8. They did lose their first game yesterday against Drake. They are now 1-4 on the season.

In the 2 games against Oakland gets outscored 22-2 and been outscored 33-9 in their 3 games. 
 

Doesn't really seem like an upgrade from Starr, but hope I'm wrong and she works out. Still seems like there was something else besides the record that led to Starr's dismissal.

They play Drake and Oakland today, which I assume will be 2 losses.

the Montana HC announced yesterday that he is stepping down. I thought it was interesting his reasons for stepping down were. He blamed the current climate of college football and how it wasn't fun anymore and he basically dreaded coming to work everyday.

Jared Elliott, former WIU head coach,  was named the TE coach for Illinois.
