maybe not the right thread, but has anyone been able to see our 7 footer (Alex Brantley) in scrimmages or practices and care to update us on how much progress he has made? Was he solid in the weight room, etc.

Would we ever have college sports without fans in the stands? I think the answer is yes as long as the fans can be virtually in attendance via TV and internet streaming. The challenge is how to get the fans engaged from a distance. Tweets and messages can be displayed on the electronic ribbon board...

Might be worth taking a look at Will Carius who is grad transferring from Monmouth College. 6'7" and was averaging 27 points and 12 boards before suffering an early season injury this year. Averaged 25 and 11 during his junior year.

USD is doing something very interesting with their Dome renovation. They are putting all of the suites/loges at the LOWEST level. The $64K question is do we expect to be back just like we were before this pandemic or do we prepare for the future of an entirely new normality in our lives. I am leaning toward the latter.

I think there will be a whole lot of "Go with the Flow" as college presidents struggle to deal with this pandemic. You could be like Jerry Falwell and forge a path forward but pretty risky IMHO. Conducting BOT meetings via teleconferencing and allowing remote member voting are hardly risky though.

Former Denver coach Joe Scott is going back to Air Force he was a very successful coach at Air Force before. He had good success at DU but not enough in the eyes of the AD there. I love to watch a good Princeton offense team in action. His teams were much more disciplined than the current Billiups ...
