Re: 2025 Week 3 - vs Valparaiso

Debating whether to go or not.  Evening start nice becuase it will be a bit warm tomorrow.  Also Senior Day so a nice turnout would be nice.  But, why do we have Senior Day on the first home game?  Makes no sense to me.  Dont most places do it the last home game?

Re: 2025 Week 2 - at Northwestern

Interesting, Cason Carswell had a triple double on the hardwood just a few months back. Hope he gets some snaps next week when I can see the game in person.

Re: Chris Duerr

From 30K feet above, Muddy River News appears to be a top notch news organization covering west central Illinois and Missouri areas.  The level of detail I see is pretty amazing and it puts the big boys like Gannett to shame.  Chris should make them even stronger.

Re: Coaching staff

Not pertaining to our current staff, but I see that former Neck hoopster Braden Lamar is now working for former HC Rob Jeter at Southern Utah as special assistant to the HC.

Re: WIU ROTC Program Closing

Opportunity knocking for a Vet Club takeover. How many Vet Club members do we have? One way or another, the tradition can live on into perpetuity if the will is there. I went to a Bill and Mary football game a few years back. They had what looked like a WWII vet situated near the end zone manning a ...

Did this bomb hit the administration completely out of the blue or were they forewarned?

Re: NCAA Ruling

The flip side is there is no incentive to recruit High School kids any longer. They are replaced with portals transfers that can have an immediate impact, and coached know any young talent will leave if they have any success. College Coaches have stated simply just getting into a program as a ...
