Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

To qualify for Social Security a person must work a total of 40 quarters (ten years) also there is a minimum threshold per quarter that must be achieved to count, not a lot like maybe $1,500. Social Security has pushed back the age to receive full benefits to 66 and I expect it to be 68 by the time ...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

Ahhh warm fuzzy feelings of former Govenor Rauner and his his Empire of gazillions of dollars. I know let me take on Mike Madigan toe to toe. Let me freeze funding and cripple and already damaged State on life support. Govenor Rauner very serioulsy damaged an already damaged State. What was he think...

Re: Coach Jim Molinari

Western needed to find more money for Jim Molinari. The only reason he came here was an aligning of the stars. He just needed to be head coach again and Western was the closet place outside of Bradley to his family and his home. I mean he went to Minnesota and Ball St. I believe both of his boys fin...

Re: Interested to see...

Interesting points. We didn't see a "Jason Williams" effect a decade ago when he was the number "one"all around draft pick of/for the Dallas Cowboys.

Re: Future Football Schedules

Scott I always appreciate your very dialed in perspectives on the goings on. Spot on. Perhaps we may have to take a look at how many sports we sponsor moving forward. I know D-I has a minimum limit. I know the Summit has a minimum limit with a mandate that members sponsor both men/women Basketball. ...

Re: Khalen Saunders

Correct me if I'm wrong (which I never am) but didn't Western at one point 10-15 years ago have the most players on NFL rosters out of all of the FCS? I graduated in '97 and I recall a few, maybe more, years later, noticing that Western Had like 10-13 players on NFL rosters. This was before the Dako...

Re: Future Football Schedules

We played Minnesota and UNLV in 2013 (eleven game season). Nope...12 games. MN and UNLV as FBS games, Hampton and Quincy at home. Finished 4-8 overall in the regular season. 2014 was also a 12 game season, Northwestern and Wisconsin away, and Valpo and Drake at home. Damn, I thought this was my cha...
