Mr. Joe Creed

Mr. Joe Creed, Western Illinois Alumnus. Is it fair to say he reached his potential?

His time at Western was when the St. Louis Rams were here and Western was a rising star.

So many things have changed in this world. I scarcely recognize it from my youth

Western will re-claim it's rightful ...

Re: 2025 Season

Ugh, those odds are not adding up to a winning season. The scheduling of the non-con makes playoff eligibility all but out of reach. Best case scenario might be to get to .500.

Re: 12-game football seasons

While I would love to see them keep the ISUred game, I would think at this point we couldn't afford to pass on a money game.

I'm hoping with the extra game, ISU can fit a H&H with us in their schedule more often.
From our side, I'd love to see those 4 OOC games be an easy one at home (nearby ...

Re: 2025 Season

Who has plans to go where?
Probably the game at Illinois. I'll have to miss the home games against EIU and Lindenwood, unfortunately.

Lason not doing the Macomb to Chicago Amtrak to Union Station walk to the State St. Subway (Yes Chicago has elevated trains and subways). Head North on Red ...

Re: 2025 Season

Who has plans to go where? Both the Northwestern and Illinois games will have a great gameday atmosphere. I don't think I will attend those (money or lack thereof). As an aside, I checked out Northwestern's temporary home right by the Lake last August. Cool, unusual capacity 25K or less, so tickets ...

Re: Hanson field new turf?

Ok, well that tempers my expectations at least. Times are tough money is tight.

The current field certainly is usable. It wont look or feel like a new field. However, our 'Necks get to practice and play on it regularly so it will be the norm. I guess it affects visiting teams more adversely ...

Re: Performing Arts Center

Oh, ok thanks 712 for informing me of what I guess most people might have known. No urgency to book any show.

Re: Performing Arts Center

Anybody on here have any news on the progress of Goldfarb Center for the Performing Arts (hope I got the name right). Is the completion date sometime in the Fall of this year? I am curious as to who is lined up for the inaugural show. If there isn't anything lined up by now it needs to happen soon.

Hanson field new turf?

Hanson Field was scheduled to receive new turf installed the Summer of 2024. The bid number I recall was 488,445.00. I don't remember what company or type of turf.

So...no new turf materialized last year. Was the turf instalation postponed to Summer 2025 waiting for a cash infusement from the two ...
