Re: Soon no more IPWF
Wondering if the same will happen for IUPUI, e.g., PUI, Purdue Indianapolis. Should not affect IUPUI as this is a name change due to the changing academic structure at IPFW. Purdue will now hold a majority of the programs at IPFW, whereas in the past it was more of an even split between Indiana and...

Re: Best WIU hoops player
In no particular order (off the top of my head and some are missing): Joe Dykstra, Ceola Clark, Terell Parks, Coleman Carrodine, Monzell Jackson, Bob Anderson, Chuck Schramm, Lupe Rios, Brad Bainter, Garett Covington. Missing a few guys from the 50's, the golden era in WIU men's basketball.

Re: 11/29 @ American U
PS: I love every one of those guys on those CC/TP teams. This is in no way a slight on any player from that team. Just that Covington is that good of a basketball player.

Re: 11/29 @ American U
I'm skipping three pages of this thread to address the following comment.... Covington (viewed to be best player program has seen for a while) would hardly see the floor, if at all, on the TP CC teams. Can't think of one guy he would start over and mcavoy would come off the bench before him. Are you...

Re: vs Oak Hills Christian
In response to the home schedule. It's always gonna stink. Nobody wants to play at WIU. The travel sucks, as you have to fly into Peoria and Macomb then bus over 90 minutes. No, Bradley will still not play at WIU, nor will most if not all MVC schools (look at Evansville a couple years ago - skipped ...

Re: BB Season Starts Nov 3
That was a trick question. There isn't a good route, haha. My preferred route was 136 to 41 then 95 to Cuba, blacktop to Canton, and in through Bartonville. However, that's heavily infested with deer. I worked a summer for the Peoria Chiefs and hit 2 deer that summer.

Re: WIU vs Illinois State (11/5/2016)
Four years ago in 2012, we had over 16,000 for the ISU game at Hanson Field. That game was played in September. The 2014 game drew 4,641 for an October game. So it appears that our attendance is a downward spiral at the moment. Any thoughts about that ???? My thoughts....the attendances are not gre...

I'm also a big fan of B&B. Barry Rozner has grown on me, but nowhere near that of Boers. Hopefully that October timetable is still on target.

Re: Ashley Luke Depature
Even it the appeal had been approved, the Coach had already said there was no room for her on the team. That doesn't make sense, because the basketball coach and athletic department has to sign off the medical hardship waiver. Had that been the case, a medical hardship waiver would have never made ...
