Just beat me to it.
It's rumored that former Montana HC Bobby Hauck is the top candidate (and is very interested) in returning to the program. Hauck was born in Missoula, ran track at Montana (and brother was a star DB for the Grizzlies), and was the head coach at Montana from '03-'09, winning at least a share of the Big Sky title every year, earning an 80-17 overall record, and getting the Grizzlies to three championship games. He left after 2009 to become the HC at UNLV but only got them one winning season and one bowl game before being let go after 2014. He is currently the special teams coordinator at San Diego State.

Ok, this one is really weird.
Apparently NAU's AD left for a job at another school and the school "unfired" HC Souers. Very odd.

Not HC, but MVFC related...
Illinois State fired three of their offensive coaches.

Sounds like Hampton is trying to embrace reality. HBCUs are a product of the past.
Honestly the only HBCU that has any sort of academic resonance with me is Howard.
Maybe if the MEAC and the SWAC would participate in the FCS playoffs they would get respect=exposure, but as a whole their teams are bad, NCAT would get demolished by the top half of the MVFC, and Grambling even being mentioned is just pure name recognition of years gone by.
Sorry if I offended, no intention to flame, or smack, just is what is.

Larry Kennan at Incarnate Word is out, as is Paul Nichols at Davidson
