Some good things happening thanks to the artistically-inclined folks in Macomb.

While on that subject, I have always felt that big windowless structure south of Hanson off Murray St screams "Picture Your Mural Here". Something with an athletic theme would be good. -------------------------------------------below here

Reminiscent of the "Mickey Mouse" parking lot that had to be painted over due to copyright issues.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 5:13 pm Some good things happening thanks to the artistically-inclined folks in Macomb.

My guess is that they've avoided doing anything with it because it's in the master plan to be removed. Eventually...someday...maybe...the plan is to have a new heating plant north of DPS/Facilities Management, towards the river, and that the road that currently curves through there will go straight through to Murray and there'll be a Visual Arts building there.sealhall74 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 5:13 pm Some good things happening thanks to the artistically-inclined folks in Macomb.

Park City, UT is probably the one place that caught my eye with respect to art throughout the city.

Sometimes, it was not even fancy, just a bunch of old worn out running shoes tied together and tossed on a tree next to the running trail, an interesting take on the "Shoe Tree".
