Here is an idea that I think would work. You could set up elevated race course on/above the court or even have balloon dogfights among contestants. This will get an extra 100 people into a basketball game every night as Greeks and other organizations love to compete against each other. Maybe a playoff format with the winners facing off in last game of season?

Cost is about $60. Does take a little practice before game day.

Love it. Anything to get spectators/students involved only leads to good things. Very cheap also.

Challenge now is to invent a few cool Leatherneck props to have along the race course that contestants have to fly through or around. Cost of helium is another added factor but you can get it pretty readily these days. About $30 worth is enough for 40 balloons or so.

Can we fly one of them things thru the front door or a cardboard "Rocky's Doghouse" and out the backdoor. RF range of controller is about 100 feet. Controller has 4 frequencies so you could have 4 contestants per race.
