Ahhh warm fuzzy feelings of former Govenor Rauner and his his Empire of gazillions of dollars. I know let me take on Mike Madigan toe to toe. Let me freeze funding and cripple and already damaged State on life support.
Govenor Rauner very serioulsy damaged an already damaged State.
What was he thinking? Taking on Mike Madigan Head to Head? What are you in 7th grade? Anyone that knows anything about the human condition knew that this full frontal assault was going nowhere.
G** D*** Rauner was an arrogant entitled buffoon that CRIPPLED Illinois' institutions of higher learning. Can he go to prison too?

In this state, there's plenty of blame to go around, I'd say. The biggest problem over the previous stretch was that the two men with the most power had opposing viewpoints and both refused to budge.
Things do appear to be actually making progress now though, so hopefully that'll lead to somewhat better news for Western when the budget is officially approved.
