For those of you who aren't aware, there was a website called the College Football Data Warehouse that had a database of nearly all DI football games going back to near the beginnings of college football (as well as many DII and DIII games as well). You could look up a team, find their record, see what their record was against another team, another conference, and other data/comparisons.
Early this year (or maybe it was late last year), the website's database got hacked and corrupted and the site's owner decided to just shut it down. This distressed me greatly due to the fact that I probably visited the site on a nearly hourly basis during the football season, and maybe only daily outside of football season.

Well, now there's a group (maybe just one guy, not sure) who's putting together a new version (they're unconnected to the original site creator). He's got pretty much all the old data pulled in from backups of the old website that were on archive.org's Wayback Machine and is in the process of cleaning things up and getting the 2016 game data posted. But, if you wanted to see where he's at on things, you can take a look at the new site here: http://thecfbdatawarehouse.com/

For example, here's the series matchups between us and IL State: http://thecfbdatawarehouse.com/series/w ... e-redbirds

Anyway, if you're a data nerd like me, I'd recommend bookmarking this guy's site...it's a great resource that's only going to get better throughout the season. I'd also recommend whitelisting it on your ad blocker if you use one. He pays for the site using a few google ads (like I do with Leatherneck Nation), and it's well worth it if you like to have access to this data.
