And of course Mother Nature is making a liar out of me. Solidly overcast...no sun whatsoever at this point.

The bar on University Drive in the karate building was called Harper's Bizarre. It was a free for all of underage drinking. Had some great times there.

F***ing, embarrasing and weak.

Up 27-6 and the D alows 31 2nd half points.

I said this earlier, these are tough lessons to learn. ISU is the real deal and will be alive for a very long time in the FCS playoff. For WIU, this season is all about steps, and sometimes it's a step forward and a step back! ;) jc

True. Still hard to take, though. ;)

The theme for this team, great 1st halves but unable to adjust and have disappointing 2nd halves.

I don't know why the coaching staff do not know how to adjust their game plan.

ISU abandoned their run game and went to attack the D with the pass. The Tampa 2 D cannot work against the spread because the holes in the D really open up.

When I went to Western, the karate building was a restaurant called the Brathaus. I don't remember them having a liquor license. But their pizza was excellent. They were always busy.

Another fact: The building where the Sunrise Café is on University Drive used to be another pizza place called "Pizza World".

Today's game had a sad ending.

The promised sun did make a brief (3 minute) appearance at kickoff. Otherwise it was a completely overcast day.

The attendance is posted as 4,641. But it looked bigger than that.
