Question: do the tickets as well as the WIU student ID have barcodes on them that can be read by a hand-held scanner device?
If Jimmy V was a programmer like me, he would have said it like this: while (!(succeed = try()));

There are no bar codes on the tickets.

Western hall is really not set up well for division 1 athletics. Reminds me more of a high school gym. It's not secure security wise and there is too many doors for people to enter the building. If anyone wants to get in for free, all they have to do is enter the side door by the parking lot. If this were a proper athletics complex we would limit the entrance to only the front doors and require people to pay immediately as they walk in.
When Western Hall was built in 1962, it was designed for tickets to be sold outside of the building. You can still see those original outdoor ticket windows on the north side of Western Hall, adjacent to the two main entrances.

When the original vomitories were re-opened last year, they created more entry points into the basketball court.

Seems like we need at least 8 ticket-takers: one each at the 4 vomitories and 4 more for the 4 corners of the court.

And if we get crowds large enough to open up the balconies, that would require more ticket-takers.
