Bye week in week 3? yuck.

Let's have some banter.

I was at Fayetteville when Western nearly pulled off the upset. I am still sad about that one.

NDSU at home two years back. The players and coaches put so much prep and effort into that game. I have never seen so many tears flow after a game in my life.

Yeah the Ndsu and ISU loss that year where tough loss to the 2 teams that played for the championship by a combined 10 points when we controlled both games.

I have not seen Northern Illinois play, Actually I think NDSU feels like going to the MAC would be a lateral or step down move. I wanted to watch NIU and couldn't (I'm a cord cutter) I have 40 bpm internet and can usually stream anything I want.

MVFC>MAC

certainly for me :D .......sorry I cant shake that Lance Lenoir shit....it is so insulting.

At this point Western Illinois is in the conversation of being the best team in in Illinois.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

Playing NDSU,

Playing ISU

Playing SDSU.............

ISU and SDSU are angry and will take their losses as fuel to be a dominant presence in MVFC Regular Schedule.

Definitely these are the ones that hurt the most in recent memory. Both ones we were leading late in the game, especially the ISU one.

Others I can think of: SIU and the playoff game against WKU in 2002. We lost by 2 points to SIU, otherwise it would have been an undefeated regular season. We beat WKU in the playoffs and that could have been our first team to make it to the championship game (since WKU won that year).

Arkansas in '08...we really should have had that one.

1997 playoff game against McNeese State was the most disappointing game for me. Great defense, brutal cold, just couldn't get that 2 point conversion late. Really thought that was going to be the year. 2nd would be the ISUr game from a couple years ago. That was not fun to watch.

The "Snow Bowl". I honestly thought we had a really good shot at the National Championship that year.
